realization

after watching the Rules of Attraction on Tuesday and reading Choke on Wednesday, I realized something:

Chuck Palahniuk is the Bret Easton Ellis of the 'Aughts.

in the movie that will someday be made featuring every person I've ever heard of being portrayed by every other person I've ever heard of, Easton Ellis will be played by Tom Cruise and Palahniuk will be played by Marky Mark.

also, Sirhan Sirhan will be played by Lisa Lisa and Ford Maddox Ford will be played by Downtown Julie Brown.

a cow orker just offered to sell me a Cirque de Soleil ticket for $70.
I told her that if I had $70 to spare, I'd buy a car with it.
