glauconreviews now exists.
I'm going to post reviews of things there.
if I read it or watch it, I'll post something about it there.
it may be one line.
it may be a thousand.
I will not be using cut tags there. if that strikes you as a potential problem, don't add it to your regular friends list.
a lot of what I post there will probably be pretty dull and/or narcissistic. genuine insights or original thoughts may be rare. if that strikes you as a potential problem, don't read it.
everything I post there is my taste and my opinion only, but mine is right and if you disagree, you're probably wrong. if that strikes you as a potential problem, blow me.
much of it will be more in the nature of personal reflection rather than critical opinion or scholarly analysis. there will be elements of those too though.
I won't be doing a lot of dialog in the comments. if you have a comment to which you are specifically seeking a response, you should say so explicitly. even so, I may not respond or may respond a month later via email or carrier pigeon.

I typically finish at least one book per week. it's often more like 2 or 3. it could be more than that. authors, subject matter, genre is wide ranging. there's a good bit of non-fiction. some of it is on pretty specific topics in classics, history, or mythology. I also sometimes read comic books, unpublished poetry manuscripts from friends, or reference books. pornography is not out of the question.
I have at least 1500 books in my library of which I have finished about half. when I don't have a new book to post about, I might post about one of these.
--
I watch at least 3 movies per week. about a third of these "movies" are actually the DVDs of TV shows. this percentage will probably decrease over time, as there aren't that many TV shows I'm interested in and I'm just about done watching all available episodes of them. I might go back and post about things I've already watched.
easily 90% of the movies I watch are from my netflix queue. if you are on there and would like to friend me so that we can compare queues, let me know. we can even give each other blow jobs after the counselor turns off the lights.

there may be reviews of other things too: cars, concerts, albums, drinks, restaurants, relatives. mostly not though - mostly books and movies.
I'm going to do my damnedest to post at least a one or two line review every day. this project will come to an end if:
--it stops being fun
--I get really busy with other stuff
--I run out of things to review
--the world ends.
