Apr. 7th, 2006 09:48 amok, so I know this guy who's simultaneously a diaper fetishist and a furry fetishist. some of y'all know him too. others don't, so I'm not going to give his name. he's pretty out about it, but it's not my thing to tell.
anyway, the reason I'm bringing it up is that I've occasionally expressed astonishment that there's anyone else in the world besides him who's into that kind of thing, to which he's responded that there's a surprisingly large number.
so I was thinking about it this morning and found myself wondering - how much correlation is there between that number and the number of people born between 1965 and 1980 who grew up reading Bloom County and thinking that Opus (a furry in a diaper) was pretty cool?
also, I think PeeWee Herman is responsible for the popularity of the rave scene in America.

Date: 2006-04-07 05:21 pm (UTC)I am *not*, however, into diapers. Having had to change my fair share of them. Non-disposables, too. Ish.
Nor am I into furries. Other than the furry cuffs on my nightstand, that is.
Pee Wee? Raves? You *must* explain. Inquiring minds...and all that.
Speaking of, have you seen the previews for some weird upcoming movie that he's in? Can't remember what genre it even was, just how shocked I was to see him so...old.

Date: 2006-04-08 03:38 am (UTC)Bloom Coubty was more interesting in 1981-82, when he was satirizing Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. ANybody remember Tess Turbo & the Blackheads?
