I just discovered through wikipedia that there used to be a Commodore in the US Navy named Hull.

I immediately had to check to see if there'd ever been an Air Force officer named Fuselage.

(on a related note, it is my fervent hope that for Obama's first supreme court appointment, he manages to find another judge named after grillable meat to follow in the illustrious and delicious footsteps of Felix Frankfurter and Warren Burger.)

There's also a very large port city in the UK called Hull. It's a hole. But, the longest suspension bridge for many years goes to Hull across the Humber river. We just crossed it a few days ago on our way to York. It's pretty cool. But Hull is simply awful.
